The PERC 2012 Annual Scientific Meeting was held at the Fairmont Mont Tremblant, Quebec - attendees were welcomed from coast to coast. The fourth Fellows Education Day was held on the Sunday prior to the research presentations - this day was a great success with distinguished guest speakers Drs. Serge Gouin, Martin Pusic, Carrol Pitters, and Janet Nuth from the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Dr. Jeremy Grimshaw from The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute presented on knowledge translation at the staff research day. The 'PERCky' and 'Acronym Contest' were back again this year, presented by Roger Zemek during the final presentations on Wednesday evening. Thursday was devoted to a full day of meetings for the newly funded TREKK (TRanslating Emergency Knowledge for Kids) network.
